Dr. Theresa Lewis

Dr. Lewis' professional career spans 30 years with experience in secondary schools as well as the community college and university settings. Professionally she has worked with every population from the failing college student and the student who is plagued with mental health issues or socioeconomic challenges, to the high-achieving scholarship recipient, many of whom were also not without obstacles. She has also had the distinct pleasure of working with Student Support Services, Upward Bound, and the McNair Scholars Program, all of which are federally-funded TRIO programs which serve students that are considered first-generation like herself and often come from low-income backgrounds.
